1. Backhand [video 4.1]
a) grip- fingers fold under the rim of the frisbee
b) bring arm from back to front on a “table-top”
c) snap wrist at end of the motion
2. Forehand [video 4.2]
a) make a “peace sign” and have middle finger be placed along the rim of the disc
b) bring arm from back to front with disc tipped slightly away from your body
c) snap wrist (especially important in flick)
3. Catching [video 4.3]
a) “Pancake”- place one hand on top of the other and watch disc into hands
b) “Lobster”- use two hands with thumbs on the bottom to run to the disc
c) One hand- get hand behind the disc to stop rotation
4. Cutting [video 4.4]
a) always make sharp angled cuts to lose defender
b) make cuts believable
c) be heads up and aware of other players
5. Marking [video 4.5]
a) always make sure to be at least one disc length away
b) make sure to take away one of their throws- either backhand or forehand
c) stay active and on toes
